Born in Madagascar and grew up in Hong Kong.

Halen began his music life with guitar, and continued by playing African and Cuban percussion.

From 2010 onwards, he went several times to Cuba to learn Cuban music. He is the percussionist of "Banda Orbita", an Afro Cuban Jazz group in Hong Kong.

Recently, he often goes to Japan to learn African music with Hiroki Murai, Lamine Traore, Laoulaou Bangoura, Yoshihide Nishiyama, etc. In 2014, he performed in the "Carnival" show with Gekidan Africa in  Fukuoka.

He is one of the founder players of "ONE Harmony", an African music group in Hong Kong. They performed in Street Music, Freespace Happening, etc.

As an African drum and guitar instructor, Halen teaches in different schools and organizations. He also conducted Cuban music lectures in school.

Cecilia began her music studies on piano, clarinet and western percussion.

In 2008, she started to learn west African music. She joined different workshops by Mamady Keita, Babara Bangoura, Mahiri Fadjimba Keita in Taiwan and Singapore.

She went to Germany to attend Famoudou Konate's summer workshop to improve her playing on Djembe, Dunun and Fula during 2013 to 2015.

Cecilia is one of the founder players of "ONE Harmony".

She is an experienced teacher who works well with young children. She is working as an early childhood teacher at SWAN Academy and kindergarten such as Victoria Harbour Green Campus and St. Paul's Church Kindergarten.
